A labyrinth of boulevards.
love, love like this.
*faints*

There is XRAVE and I can't participate because...?

EXAMS!

Yeah. It has come to that time of the year, where we all pull our hairs out, drink bottles after bottles of Essence of Chicken, throw tantrums at your loved ones, munch on fattening stuffs and the list goes on...

Life have been really amazing and I thank God for it.

I thank God for NIE.
I thank God for lousy math quiz results.
I thank God for competitive people in school.

I know, these are stuffs which really wracks your heart, 'cept the first one. But got to thank God for every single thing that He puts in your life because at the end of the day, it'll benefit you. :)

Ok.

This is the longest library receipt I've ever gotten for the past 20 years of my life. It is from HSS Library.

I thank God for my mum. She got me this:

She came into my room and said, "merry christmas" and showed me this. Hahaha. Behind it is my Calculus textbook.

as long as you love me.

Man. Just one line and it cost me 4 marks. Now, do you love your maths? Haha.

Haven't been updating much, been busy with school, quizzes, assignments, church and people. I love my life. (:

After looking at the photo above, do you now know why I don't update?

Yeah. School is getting busier, I am learning to cope.

I really love school. They teach us so much things and they totally enlighten us! I love it!

I love sociolinguistic, though it sounds boring.

Shall update soon.

Man.
Went to watch "Manhood" with Stella, yesterday.
Wasn't very nice, but the actors made it seem so. It tested the actors, but the script was totally not concrete enough. So is it worth the $39? I say that it is, because they sung harmoniously together. Haha.

It is also very real. It deals with the problems that man faced these days. Be a man. Seriously, being a man is not defined by the people but how a man sees himself to be.

Gonna be really busy for the next week. 3 assignments due next week, one e-tutorial for me to finish by this Sunday. oh mans.

seasons.
After a long week, I sat down, looked through some photos and Jay started talking to me on MSN. its almost like a miracle. Missed him, man! Can't wait for him to be back in Singapore.

It got me thinking. Everyone is growing up. Come on, seriously.

Koon is in the army. He is acting like a reporter everyday, reporting his latest happenings.

Bernie is in the army. Manz. I don't know how is he surviving in there. Hopefully he doesn't book out skinnier than last week.

Siok is going to work soon!

Elyn is working!

Jing Hong is sort of working and starting school soon!

I am glad that we are doing our lives together. :)

Feel really blessed to have great friends who are around!

God is my victory and He is here.
Been going to 3 places for 2 straight weeks.

School -> Church -> Home

Everyday, I come home, I will slip into a coma.

I came across something today! It totally made my day, not that my day was bad or anything.

I am going with Stella. Probably next week or the next following week, since I might be busy again next week.

Its a busy week, but God is faithful. :)
Trust in the Lord.

a song.
this weekend was weird. Pastors were not around, many leaders were not around. Felt weird.

I really love Pastors sermon on bigger heart. It covered all areas of our lives, different phases of our lives.

So is God your Father, Friend, Savior or Master?

Met 3 new friends this weekend!
Great to know them man!

Can't wait for the next weekend to come, so that I can see Pastors in church again!

refine me.
Recently, we sang a wonderful worship song that truly touched our hearts and I think it touched God's too. It an amazing song and I take my hats off for the person who wrote it. The last stanza is just amazing and mind blowing. Shall put the lyrics up.

This is my prayer in the desert
When all thats within me feels dry

This is my prayer in my hunger and need
My God is the God who provides

This is my prayer in the fire
In weakness or trial or pain

There is a faith proved to worth more than gold
So refine me Lord through the flame

I will bring praise
I will bring praise
No weapon formed against me shall remain

I will rejoice
I will declare
God is my victory and He is here

This is my prayer in the battle
When triumph is still on its way

I am conqueror and co-heir with Christ
So firm on His promise I'll stand

All of my life, in every season
You are still God
I have a reason to sing
I have a reason to worship

And this is my prayer in the harvest
When favour and providence flow
I know I'm filled to be emptied again
The seed I receive I will sow

So much faith was put into this song. Check out their worship leader's testimony for this song. It will move your heart.

i'm waiting for this time.
I really really love Pastor How's sermon!

Thinking the same thing, doing the same way, expecting something different is insanity.

I totally love this.

Whats more? D-Class!
Mine was with Mae-Ann and she was talking about Pastors and also about her life. Oh man. After today's D-Class, I have a different perspective of her and Sean. I feel so bad now, for suan-ing Sean. Aiyah. "SO Handsome", shouldn't suan him anymore. Haha.

This is so Singlish.

Anyway, I was at Udders on Friday night and we listened to Maroon 5's "Won't Go Home Without You". Then, I said that Maroon 5 is a very good bad, with nice voice. Elyn made a comment that all the bands that I like have something to do with "5" in their name.
THEN, I realised that it was true!

1. MAROON 5

I love them since their "Songs about Jane" album. I was waiting impatiently for "It won't be soon before long" album. I really like Adam's unique voice and his ability to write saucy lyrics without feeling embarrassed.

2. THE CLICK FIVE

Sadly, I only liked this band because of Kyle Patrick. I took notice of the lead singer because he was just too handsome to resist. Haha. But it turned out that they have a very good voice and composing skills.

3. SS501

I first know their existance 2 years ago, when a JC classmate told me that she liked them. But I only really read about them was when Kim Hyun Joong acted in "Boys Over Flowers". Then I went to check out their MVs, when the first one was "U R Man", which was sung by Triple S, sub-group of SS501, when Hyun Joong was busy filming BOF and Jung Min busy with "Grease" the musical. Then, Baby was finally the one that took my heart away. Hahaha.

BUT!

I do like another band. I like w-inds. I have been collecting their CDs since I was 14/15 years old. Haha. Talk about die-hard fan.

Ok! That makes the end of my reminiscing part.
School is gonna start in like, 2 days time. Woohoo! Can't wait to meet my friends man!
Timetable decided to be nicer to me, by giving me 10hrs of break every week instead of 20, from last semester.
Timetable- Printed, Checked
Files- Bought, Checked
Pack the shelf- Checked
Planned my next week- Checked

I can't wait for tomorrow's today's service!

under His banner we unite.
I went visiting people who wasn't feeling well today.

First: My sister's mother-in-law.
I seriously didn't know what to call her the first time I met her. So I just ended up with "auntie". Then Auntie went on talking to me in Chinese, which I taught was Cantonese. Hahaha.

Second: Dots.
This girl, who got 7 days MC, spend 1/4 of her day baking blondies. Just in case you were wondering what is Blondies, its like Brownies, just that its yellow in colour because it doesn't have cocoa powder in it.
Her baking is GOOD!

Third: Vanessa.
This girl, had 2 days MC, but she went to school today! Oh man. We walked all the way to her house, which is very deep into the HDB estates and we called her to know that she was in school. So we walked out and continued walking to her school.

Siok said that she felt like a CCH teacher. I felt like that too! Kudos to all CCH teachers! Truly, you guys deserve our praises. I feel safe that the children are growing in God, with the CCH teachers guiding them!

I met up with the Gossip Girls I was part of during JC days. Missed their endless scoops man!
Like always, they were ever-so accomodating towards me!
Thanks man.
They totally know when to stop if the scoopsgets too explicit and its starting to scare me.
They totally know that I am so broke.
They totally know that I don't want to drink.
They totally know that eating Carls' Jr makes me really happy and it made them happy.

Thanks man!!
I forgot to take a photo. Seriously, why did we wait for 1year and 8 months to meet up, when one stays in Serangoon, another stays in Kovan and another stays in Sengkang?!
Strange.

hey boy, relax your mind.
I thought that my Monday would be spent wisely by reading all my overdued TIME magazines, till my sis gave me a call.

She asked me out, to accompany her for her appointment at the gynecologist. Being a wonderful and sweet sister I am, I went.

After spending 2hrs waiting for the doctor, 5 mins spent in the consultation room, I am officially calling it quits when it comes to accompanying her to the gyne.

Its a total waste of time! Apparently, the doctor actually went to deliver a baby.

Yes!

Deliver a baby!

My sis and mum concluded that I was very lucky. Haha. Of course, life shouldn't depend on luck and there are no such thing as luck, I would say that God made it possible for the doctor to be delayed and to introduce me to this new game of...

ZOOKEEPER!

It is on NDS and it is really addictive. Haha.

I saw my nephew!!! Yes!! I saw him!! I only saw the head. But, its better than nothing right?!

I spent alot of money on my nephew before he is even born.
He should call me yiyi mama.
Ok, maybe not. mayi?
Heh heh heh. Sounds weird.
